Looking back and moving forward

Updated: May 29, 2020

I have had the greatest pleasure of working for Ericka and Misha (get it ERI MISH) for almost 6 years. And as this company has grown, so has it's giving. I truly believe this is why we are a successful company, because at the heart of Erimish there are two women who are eager and generous givers.

Each New Year I look back and reflect on what an honor it has been to be a part of such an amazing company. I am usually in awe of what we have done for our community the previous year. And excited to see how we will be able to give more in the next New Year.

Looking Back 2019:

In 2019 Erimish supported and helped fund our local Shop with a Cop event. Several of the spouses of our Erimish team members are Boys In Blue. So this was a great cause to be a part of. Not only to support our local Police stations and employees causes, but to be able to support 90 kids for the holidays. The purpose of the event is to foster positive relationships between youth and officers. To learn more please contact your local department to become involved.

Every October is breast cancer awareness month. And we simply love making several unique sets, singles and stacks for this month in honor of those ladies fighting and surviving. When we tell you a portion of our proceeds go to Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, we mean that. This organization is amazing. And we are thrilled to be able to support them. Go visit their site to see what they are all about and you will see why this was an easy choice to donate to.

This giveback stack is very close to Ericka & Misha's hearts. Ericka's lifelong friend Greg Smith passed away in 2015. After a courageous battle with brain cancer. When you purchase our Gregory Bracelet stack all profits will be donated to the Gregory D. Smith Family Endowed Scholarship at OSU.

Erimish loves teachers! Some of our favorite people are teachers. We love to give back to those people who are helping shape and mold our children. Every year we do a week long teacher appreciation at our local school. The teachers will get lunch, breakfast, and of course bracelets :) We love spoiling them a little.

This summer we were able to have several teachers work from home to help us out with some amazing bead sorting! They did an amazing job and we were super thankful to be able to help them over their summer break.

Ericka and Misha had a great idea this year. They came up with the "Sunshine Cart". This is something we keep stocked with pens, note pads, tissue, you name it it's on there! Plus we were able to collab with some of our very favorite brands to give the teachers a little something more. Earrings from Shop Treasure Jewels, MakeUp Junkie bags and much more will be seen on this cart! A student is selected to push the cart around from classroom to classroom and the teachers can pick items they not only need but want from the cart.

We want to encourage you, especially if you have kids in school, to always think of your child's teacher during Teacher Appreciation week. This year it is May 4th--8th.

Phillip, Misha, Ericka & Aaron

Ericka and Misha LOVE Christmas! They start planning pretty early on. This year I know I heard them talking in September! I say that so you know their hearts. They aren't planning big parties or taking extravagant vacations. They are working on getting a list from the school to see how many kids are in need for the year.

And let me tell you this list isn't just for the kids. It includes siblings and parents.

They start shopping for coats, hats, gloves, socks, pj's... all the essentials. This year we were given 17 families. Guys!!! 17 families that were in need. Every single member of the family received all the essentials, Christmas dinner and tons of amazing gifts!

We want to encourage everyone to become involved in some way at Christmas. You can contact your local schools, shelters etc and find several ways to donate not just gifts or money but your time. Your time is valuable and to be able to give it is a very special gift. One of the best feelings in the world is giving. The positive energy is contagious. With just one act of kindness, you can inspire others to go out and plant seeds of happiness through giving, too. Your greatest gift is the ability to share your blessings with others.

And I can confidently say, because of our customers, Erimish has been able to be an amazing blessing to others.

As we look back on the last year we can't help but feel incredibly blessed. I truly feel like if you are blessing to those around you, you will receive blessings too. And in 2019 we received the best blessing ever! We built our new...or should I say Phillip built our new building! We went from a small pulling and shipping space and a lot of us crammed in a small office together to a building where we have our own offices and a huge warehouse for shipping and receiving. Enjoy the photos of the building process and the hard work that went into our new warehouse.

Moving Forward 2020:

This new year gives us a whole new chapter to fill. We look forward this month to launching our new Spring 2020 collection and visiting all of our awesome wholesale customers at our 2 new showrooms ( Atlanta #8-N103 & Dallas #15462 ) And giving all our awesome customers one of the best collections YET!! You all will LOVE IT!! We promise!

Ericka and Misha are so thankful and grateful for the opportunities they are given and the amazing customers they have!!

And I know that they are already planning for Christmas :)
